Milltimber CALA Homes Sales Area - Update

Pictures of the CALA Sales Area at Milltimber last summer show the planting has settled in a bit. The design has used elements that are in the surrounding area to root the garden in the location, for example beech hedging has been used as this is a common hedging along the North Deeside Road and Milltimber Area and this was repeated in the pleached trees used to break up the gable end of the Show Home and give the design a contemporary edge.

Strong, simple shapes were used for the lawn and borders to provide clarity. The planting is a mixture of evergreen box balls for winter structure and perennials and grasses for contemporary colour in the summer.

We also included a 'standing stone' created from a stone chosen from those found on site during the construction of the houses.
